Originally sold as a durable working man’s shoe, in the 70s and 80s the style became popular with political protesters, and as a fashion item at universities across Britain. This 1461 shoe stays true to the original and features a hardwearing premium leather upper, classic 3-eye fastening and Dr. Martens durable welted construction, finished with our ultra comfortable AirWair technology and slip-resistant sole.
