Dr. Martens 1460

The Dr. Martens 1460 was the first model of Dr. Martens to come off the factory line in England. As the name suggests, it happened exactly on April 1, 1960. The first Martens were 8-hole boots in a burgundy color (later they added the black combination). These ankle boots, this specific model 1460, later became a world-famous English symbol, an export, and above all, a domestic brand. Dr. Martens later promoted various subcultures, artists, punks, and musicians. The Dr. Martens 1460 became synonymous with the free spirit of artists and lively parties.
