PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Sharp, frosty air, snow-covered trees – what could be more beautiful than a winter walk in the woods. The Anvik GTX makes the perfect companion. And with its fine nubuck leather upper and subtle patina, it also cuts a fine figure around town. With optimised thermal insulation to keep your toes warm. The perforated flex zone and pleasantly flexing upper design works together with the cushioning sole construction and StraightFit Last that has extra room at the toe box to make it a comfortable all-rounder.
Underfoot, the super grippy Michelin® V-Rough sole tread provides good traction even in icy slush or over frozen roots – just like a good high-performance winter tyre.

Hanwag is a premium hiking footwear brand Made in Germany. All the production is done by hand in Germany. As Hanwag is a brand known for its hiking footwear, at Shooos, we only sell premium pieces and special editions. Some examples include Hanwag Bergler, Hanwag Kofel, Anvik, and Hanwag Stuiben.

Hanwag footwear features premium leather sourced from the finest tanneries. The double stitching is truly double and not just suggested, as seen in some cheaper shoes (including Timberlands). You will be satisfied with the quality, and we have personally tested that despite their sturdy appearance, the shoes feel like slippers to wear (likely due to the soft, smooth leather on the inside). However, quality comes at a price, and Hanwag shoes are relatively high-priced.
