Nike Air Max 95 had a tough start as they followed the highly successful Air Max 90 model. However, this time the air bubble, originally located under the heel of the shoe, was also added to the front. Air Max 95 was created in 1995 and in 2015, it received a massive reincarnation with additional colors and models. The sneakers were designed by a young Nike designer, Sergio Lozano. The stripes on the Air Max 95 drew inspiration from the layered walls of the American Grand Canyon, revealing the rain. According to Lozano, this created the perfect shape. Air Max 95 didn't have an easy time and initially faced criticism. However, people eventually embraced them. It is also the first and last model designed by Lozano for Nike.
