Onitsuka Tiger Corsair is a sneaker that has had the most significant impact on sneaker history. The Corsair sneakers served as the inspiration for the later Nike Cortez and were also responsible for the creation of the entire Nike company (the American distributor of Onitsuka Tiger Corsair later founded Nike). The Corsair model originates from the early 1970s. After the year 2000, Onitsuka Tiger significantly redesigned it while keeping its original heritage in mind. In 2020, they introduced the attractive Onitsuka Tiger Corsair EX model, which features the same design in newer materials and a prominent heel support.
