adidas - the global leader setting trends in lifestyle footwear

adidas is a global leader in the production of sports footwear and sneakers. It's hard to capture the essence of a trend-setting sneaker brand in just a few lines. The presence of adidas footwear at Shooos is highly visible. You'll find over a thousand adidas sneaker models here. In the future, we aim to select only the best pieces from adidas, exclusively focusing on adidas Originals models, retro editions, which often feature limited edition pieces rarely found in stores.

adidas History - From the Olympics to the Best Sports Footwear

adidas was founded by Adi Dassler along with his brother Rudolf (who established the PUMA brand). The brothers used to sew shoes on their mother's sewing machines. Before World War II, their main focus was manufacturing sports footwear. They adhered to a simple motto: "All Day I Dream About Sports." The motto was coined later, but it encapsulated adidas' philosophy during that period: 1. Create the best footwear for each specific sport; 2. Protect athletes from injuries; 3. Develop durable shoes.

In 1936, the world turned its eyes to the Olympics in Munich and Hitler's theater. Prior to the games, Adi Dassler offered his sneakers to the American athlete Jesse Owens. Owens became a sensation at the Olympics, winning four gold medals in adidas shoes. A black American triumphed at Hitler's Olympics! This success led to another factory for the Dassler brothers, producing half a million pairs of footwear annually.

adidas Originals - Retro Editions and a Return to adidas' Roots

Let's leave the roots of adidas behind and turn to adidas Originals. At first glance, adidas Originals captivates with its logo. In 1997, the company decided that the original trefoil would only symbolize adidas' "heritage," representing products from the 1940s to the 1980s. Thus, the idea of adidas Originals was born. The brand exudes a distinct retro and old-school vibe. Other products fall under adidas Performance, encompassing outdoor, running, and athletic branches, distinguished by the classic three stripes logo.

adidas Originals now comprises two classic model lines: 1. Classic models: adidas Stan Smith, adidas Superstar, adidas Gazelle; 2. Innovative models: adidas NMD, adidas Ozweego, adidas Ultraboost, adidas Nite Jogger, and many more.
